How Claude limits and resets work
Claude usage sits on two windows: a session limit that resets every five hours, and a weekly limit that resets at a fixed time each week assigned to your account.
When a window runs out the normal path is to wait for the reset, move to a smaller model where your plan allows it, or buy usage credits.
Anthropic also hands out one off limit resets when it ships something big, and it announces those on @claudeai. Those are the posts this page logs.
